I would like to try and take a picture a day for 2009. Easy today as I've taken one already.

It is always great to take pictures of the kids but trying to get teenagers- especially the male variety to pose together is nigh on impossible. Fortunately my brother and family were over for Christmas so there was a rare opportunity to get my kids to pose with their five year old cousin. It did take some negotiation - bribery and threats of physical violence, the normal parental tools. Anyway I managed to mess up the lighting, stupidly believing the display on the back of my camera but we did fortunately end up with some usable results.
