The alarm went off just before 07:00 and the hotel room curtains were slightly open. I couldn't believe my luck a fantastic sunrise with the silhouette of a couple of building site cranes.
The composition of this photograph is intriguing! I love the flat cloud between the cranes, and of course the color of the sky. But what strikes me most is the vastness of space at the top of the photograph and how by the time your eye reaches the bottom, there is a lot to take in.Your comments are always kind...I have no trouble admitting that I am a crap photographer, but I am determined to learn. I can't wait to see the differences in my photography by the end of this year! I am learning much from blogs--yours included! Hopefully the purchase of a new "real" camera is on the horizon soon. Maybe Uncle Sam will be kind to us this year, and therefore, I'll be able to afford what I really want...which I haven't quite decided yet. I think I read somewhere that you use a Nikon?Your images are beautiful and your eye artistic. Thanks for sharing them with the world!
Your too kind .. and your pictures are improving day on day.I use an old Nikon D50 but don't think the camera makes a lot of difference as long as you can set the thing manually. I would suggest reading 'Understanding Exposure - Bryan Peterson'a fantastic book.
